work environment, work discipline and monitoring, both partially and
simultaneously, toward the performance of Industrial, Trade, Investment and
Cooperation Service Official, Regency of Karanganyar.
The hypotheses in research are: (1) there is a significant correlation,
both partially and simultaneously, between leadership, motivation, work
environment, work discipline and monitoring toward the performance of the
industrial, Trade, Investment and Cooperation Service official Regency of
Karanganyar.
The population in this research is all officials of the Industrial, Trade,
Investment and Cooperation Service Regency of Karanganyar of 81 personnel.
This research is a census research, which is all population member included in
sample. The questionnaire is sent back and the processed data is 73 personnel.
The analysis instrument in this research are validity test, reliability test, data
normality test, multicolinearity test, heteroschedasticity test, auto-correlation
test, multilinear regression, t test, f test, and R 2 test.
From the observation and data analysis can be concluded as follows:
(1) according to the result of regression analysis, the equation is Y = 2.230 +
0.162 X1 + 0,099 X2 + 0,072 X3 + 0,449 X4 + 0,026 X5 + e cam be known
that, which is the leadership, motivation, work environment, work discipline,
and monitoring variables have a positive correlation toward the official’s
performance; (2) according to the result of t test analysis, can be draw that
rcount < rtable for the leadership, motivation, work environment, , and monitoring
variables by which can be meant that leadership, motivation, work environment
and monitoring variables have not a significantly correlation toward the
official’s performance; Work discipline have rcount > rtable can be meant that
work discipline variable have significantly correlation toward the official’s
performance (3) from the F test, In which can be concluded that the
independent variables (the leadership, motivation, work environment, work
discipline and monitoring variables) simultaneously have a correlation toward
the official’s performance; (4) from the result of R 2 test can be obtained that
the result of 57 % means that the dependent variable reliability can be
explained by the Independent variable of 657 % whereas the remains (43%) is
explained by the other variables excluded from the regression model.
