Abstract


Performance is a workly achievement or working result /output either the quality or quantity gained by a personal in every certain period with in doing his duty as his responsibility given. In fact, our employee's performance is influenced by many things. Some of these things observed by the writer of the communication, the working motivation and the organization commitment of the nurses of RSUD Karanganyar.

The research aims at knowing the significant influence among communication, working motivation, and organizational commitment to the personal's performance, knowing significant influence of communication to the performance if it is moderated by the organizational commitment, and knowing the significant influence of working motivation to the performance if it is moderated by the organizational commitment.

The result of the research shows that communications, working motivation and organizational commitment variables personally can give a positive influence to the nurses' performance. Organizational commitment moderates the influence of motivation to the nurses' performance. On the other hand, organizational commitment does not moderate the influence of working motivation to the nurses' performance but it acts as an independent variable. In other words, organizational commitment does not strengthen the relationship between working motivation and nurses' performance. Based on the regression test result, it shows that adjusted R square number is 0,789. So that, it can be interpreted that communication, motivation, organizational commitment, interaction between communication and organizational commitment and interaction between motivation and organizational commitment influence to the nurses' performance 78,9%. While the rest of 21,1% nurses' performance is influenced by other variable which is not observed in this research. The research regression model is as follows: Y = 2,753 + 0,347X1 + 0,276 X2 + 0,265 M + 1,094 X1M +0,0672 X2M+e
